A UN COP (Conference of the Parties) is the annual supreme decision-making body of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where nearly every country gathers to negotiate global climate action.

At UN COP30 in Belém, Christian Clauwers, founder of the Society for Environmental Awareness (SEA), delivered a lecture at the International Cryosphere Climate Initiative (ICCI) Cryosphere Pavilion (Blue Zone): “Frozen Heritage & Sinking Islands: The Fight to Preserve Culture in a Warming World.”
